I am a Lewes-based writer named Ellie Nova. On this website you'll find links to my poems, short stories and creative non-fiction that has been published online and in print.

In 2020 I completed an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths University of London. I graduated with distinction and was shortlisted for the Pat Kavanagh Prize.

Before that, I worked in fundraising and communications in the non-profit sector for seven years. I studied English and Philosophy BA at the University of Leeds.

My work has been published in various places online and in print, including Popshot Magazine, The Pygmy Giant, Her Stry and in anthologies published by Guts Publishing and Arachne Press. I won the Electric Lantern Festival Flash Factor competition in 2011, the Writer's Village Short Story Award in 2012 and came runner-up in the IdeasTap Editor's Brief in 2013.
